[scene opens in a public library, as Eubie is holding a stack of books with a frown on his face, while his friends dance around him and sing]
WAYNE: Someone special, who could it be?
TWINKLE: This job's too big for you and me!
FRAN: We need some help!
KIP: But never fear-o ...
EUBIE: It looks like a job ... for a Higglytown Hero!
[the camera pans over to show a male librarian (white hair, mustache, green sweater, pink undershirt, black pants) surrounded by fireworks as he waves to the children]
ALL: A Higglytown Hero!
[he walks over to the children and begins singing]
LIBRARIAN: I'm a Higglytown Hero, brave and true! I help the town with the things I do!
[he goes to a nearby shelf and retrieves a red book]
LIBRARIAN: So work real hard and you will see, that you could be a hero ... just like me!
[he walks offscreen, then quickly returns and sings directly to the camera]
LIBRARIAN: A hero just like me!
[the children follow him, then cut to the librarian walking behind the front desk]
LIBRARIAN: I'm a librarian and I know ...
[he begins typing on the computer]
LIBRARIAN: Where each and every book should go!
[cut to the librarian riding a ladder across a bookshelf, as the children follow him]
LIBRARIAN: If you follow where I lead, I'll help you find the book you need!
[cut to the librarian pushing a bookcart (with Fran the Squirrel riding on top)]
LIBRARIAN: Wondrous books are all around, so many stories to be found! It's easy when you realize, the books are very organized!
[cut to a "dream sequence", as the children imagine various kinds of books (and the characters that could be found therein)]
EUBIE: [from off camera] Can you find a book with a king or a cook?
KIP: [from off camera] Can you find a tale about monkeys or whales?
[the librarian appears, holding a book with a caterpillar on the cover]
LIBRARIAN: Any kind of book you have in mind ...
[the caterpillar jumps off the cover, then grows into a massive creature that carries all of the children on its back (while the librarian holds onto its tail)]
LIBRARIAN: This caterpillar book will do just fine!
[he lets go of the caterpillar's tail, landing on the ground next to a large book]
LIBRARIAN: If you need a book, just come to me!
[a number of books suddenly appear, and the librarian climbs them like the steps on a ladder]
LIBRARIAN: I know each book from A to Z!
[cut back to the library, as the librarian continues singing to the children]
LIBRARIAN: I'm a Higglytown Hero, bold and good! I help my friends, just like I should!
[cut to several nearby patrons, who put a finger to their lips and shush the librarian]
[cut back to the librarian (who puts a hand over his mouth in embarrasment), then the children all start singing]
ALL: So work real hard, that's what we'll do! So we can be a hero ... just like you! A hero just like you!

From wikipedia.org:

Higglytown Heroes is a children's television series currently airing on the Disney Junior (formerly Playhouse Disney) portion of the Disney Channel, or, on some cable networks, the Playhouse Disney channel. The theme song of the show, Here in Higglytown, is performed by They Might Be Giants. Higglytown Heroes returned to Disney Junior on its cable and satellite channel replacing SOAPnet on March 23, 2012.

The choppers, who are modeled on Matryoshka nesting dolls, explore their city and interact with the people in it. Along the way, they meet "Higglytown heroes", the people in their community who make it a better place. The main human choppers include Eubie, Wayne, Twinkle, and Kip. Fran, who is almost always with them, is a red squirrel. Pizza Guy also appears in almost every episode.

Higglytown heroes have ranged from firefighters to librarians to snow plow operators. Voice actors for these Higglytown Heroes are frequently guest celebrities. The series encourages involvement in the community, and means to inspire children to consider the importance of individuals who contribute to the world and make it a better place. The show also teaches kids about jobs and may influence them about what they want to be when they grow up.
